Resin Puddle Earrings

Handmade puddles of watermelon red and white epoxy resin are strung on vinyl coated stainless steel cable. These are post style earrings with oxidized, reticulated sterling silver findings: reticulated silver is an alloy of copper and silver repeatedly heated with fire and plunged into a mild acid bath to create the characteristic pebbled surface. The metal is then oxidized to a deep black color. Sterling silver post backs.
