Printmaker's Earrings

The earrings begin on an etching press: they're made of tiny collagraphs, a textured relief printing process. Printed by the artist on ‘washable paper’—a German-made product of cellulose and synthetic latex using soy-based artists' inks. They're assembled with stainless steel cable, resin, and hammered sterling silver. The printed pattern on each pair is a tiny bit different due to the nature of the process.
