Pooh Bear Pear Shelf

The "Pooh Bear Pear Shelf" is a joyous work that brings a smiling charm to any room. The Pear is made from American Pennsylvanian Cherry and the stem is Mexican cocobolo. It begins as a large block of laminated cherry that is initially roughed out with a chainsaw and then refined with rasps, Jeweler's files for the details, and then sanded until burnished. The finish is easily maintained Danish oil. The piece is easily mounted to the wall using a wood cleat. Mounting instructions, hardware, wood cleat and a pint of Danish oil are included.
