Lines, shapes, and flowing patterns wrap around the gourd to create a sophisticated, continuous design in harmonious yellow, turquoise, and brick red. Each one-of-a-kind piece begins with pencil sketches and is hand-painted in acrylic; as the vessel is rotated, different compositions can be displayed. The gourd is dried, opened, painted, and finished with a protective matte varnish. It includes a stand, should not be used for liquid, and should be dusted rather than washed.
