Supermoon Going Wild

To create this fanciful scene of a shiny "Super Moon", artist Pamela Acheson Myers used swaths of impasto and multiple layers of acrylic paint; in many areas the paint is intentionally applied unevenly, leaving gaps that reveal the colors beneath. Its shimmery silver and gold hues add life to the work, changing in intensity depending on the light. Gallery-wrapped with the image extending along the sides, this work is wired and ready to hang.
