Stars and Bands

Attention getting with stars, circles, patterns and bands of color in bright primary colors. The curve line patterns emphasis the flow of this tall but petite form. A dried gourd vessel becomes the canvas. Once dried, the gourd is opened and the seeds are carefully removed a protective matte varnish is applied. The vessel is accompanied by a display stand used to stabilize the uneven bottom and enhance its presentation, allowing different combinations of patterns to be appreciated from every angle.
