Stand Chair

A valet chair for your entryway or any place you want to add a little beauty and function. The 'branches' are constructed by steam-bending and hand-shaping. A balance of nature and manmade is a common theme in Martin's work. The legs are made from white oak salvaged by Martin after an unprecedented storm, called a derecho, took down a large swath of trees on a friend's farm in Iowa. Steel and leather seat.
