The Story
This bronze sculpture is cast from an original clay piece. The artwork features three curved and textured planes, creating a secretive, sensual space. The sculpture was initially crafted using the coil method in white clay and later cast through the ancient "lost wax casting" technique. This process involves creating a plaster mold, followed by a soft rubber inner mold, then filling it with wax and adding channels for the molten metal. Finally, the wax is melted out and replaced with molten bronze, completing the transformation into the final sculpture.
