Seafoam Blue Miniature Crystalline Teapot

This miniature bottle was hand-thrown on the wheel with high-quality porcelain and displays a crystalline glaze. Fired in an oxidation atmosphere in an electric kiln, crystalline glazes are fired at high temperature until they turn molten and begin to run down the surface of the pot; the piece is then cooled, stopping the glaze from running, and causing crystals to grow on the exterior.
