Rubicon Pendant

A simple angular shape lends this steel pendant a sophisticated air, while the subtly etched surface adds texture and interest. The deep black patinated steel provides a backdrop for the stunning colors of fused 20k gold—in yellow, red and green, which are determined by varying the metals that are added to create the gold alloy. The pendant also features 24k gold and fine silver foil that have been burnished using an ancient technique of keum-boo. The pendant is suspended from a woven steel cable with a gold-filled lobster clasp.
