Bronze Still Life Red 30

Alice McLean approaches each of her one-of-a-kind metal sculptures as a still life: a study in color, composition, and texture. This piece is a unique bronze construction, welded, machined and oxidized with a hot process patina. It displays antique glass, stone, ceramic beads including clay spindle whorls from Ethiopia, upcycled glass from Bali and Ghana, Venetian glass, and Guru beads from Tibet. Ready to hang, it comes gift boxed with an artist statement card and a list of the beads used.
