Moose in the Aspen

Two moose graze by a pond among the Aspen trees in this peaceful work. This painting is a mixed-media fabric collage and acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas with painted sides. The composition is first sketched in charcoal, then painted over in acrylics. Beautiful patterned fabrics are then cut and glued onto the surface. The piece is then repainted with acrylics back and forth until the surface is a mixture of both mediums. Signed on the front and ready to hang.
