Mid-Century Modern Heron - Walnut

Reaching its beak to the sky, this fine-crafted wood heron sculpture is available in two styles: the simpler of the two is walnut faced, with the heron carved in Baltic birch layers veneered in walnut. The more dynamic second style is sculpted with “edge” face, the Baltic birch layered and turned it on its side, seemingly lengthening the bird and adding a sense of upward momentum. Finished in oil and wax.
