Lakeside Sumac

Fiery colors of sumac in red, orange and yellow are contrasting with calming blues of the water and skies that reflect on the shiny leaves. The piece is bright and cheerful as the celebration of the gorgeous foliage peak. Myriads of tiny leaves made of hand-dyed cotton batiks and silks are carefully cut and stitched, painted with acrylics and elaborately machine quilted.
