Jigsaw

Surrounded Layers of bright, pure acrylic colors are meticulously painted in connecting hard-edged shapes on this bright white background. These shapes float next to one another and create interesting negative and positive spaces and dynamic and modern patterns on every side of the piece. A lightweight dried gourd vessel becomes the canvas. Once dried, the gourd is opened and the seeds are carefully removed a protective matte varnish is applied. Each vessel is accompanied by a display stand, enhancing its presentation and allowing the different combinations of patterns to be appreciated from every angle.
