The Story
The sculpture, originally created using the coil method in clay, is a sensual and beautifully crafted piece that offers visual enjoyment from any angle. After being finished in white clay, it was cast using the ancient "lost wax casting" technique. This intricate process involves creating a plaster mold, followed by a soft rubber inner mold, then filling it with wax and adding sprues to guide the molten metal into the mold. Finally, the wax is melted away and replaced by molten bronze.
