In My Mother's Arms

Hand building in clay is both an exciting and meditative process. As with all creations, there is constant reflection and examination. Sometimes the process of construction becomes upper most in your consciousness, and it isn't until a bit later that you realize that "Hey, that's pretty wonderful!" Such was the case with this piece. This pieces has a metallic bronze glaze that is pretty amazing and gives the impression of bronze but at a fraction of the cost.
