Grape/Lime/Tangerine Table Runner

This handwoven table runner features my proprietary complex weave patterns. I modify traditional weaves using a CAD-based program to flip, rotate and merge the weaves in order to design new patterns. Then I strategically integrate colorful warps, creating new fabrics with shapes uncommon to conventional weaving. Each piece is reversible and is handwoven using eco-friendly bamboo. It also features beaded trim for an elegant finish on either end but is carefully finished so it remains two-sided. Today, table runners aren't just for dining rooms. They are equally at home on a credenza, sofa table, dresser or even hanging on a wall. The festive colors in this runner enhance any room and accessorize harmoniously with any decor. I handweave these on either my 16- or 40-harness Dobby looms in my studio. Also, I strive for zero-waste by upcycling all swatch samples and excess warp yarns into my other artwork. This runner is for decorative purposes only. Fabric Content: 96% Bamboo; 4% Other Care: Preferred - Gently hand wash cold, towel wrap to remove excess moisture, iron when wet, air dry, light steam iron. Dry Clean as alternate.
