Inspired by Salvador DalĂ's The Persistence of Memory, this pendant was designed to evoke the concept of time melting away. Each oculus opening and the diamonds (0.28ct) set in a 18k yellow gold halo surrounding the largest space allude to the gears of a watch. This oversized pendant is concave in shape, with its blackened silver base framed by a yellow gold hammer-textured piece that appears circular from the front, but a side view reveals undulations that allow it to capture and reflect layers of light and shadow. This piece reveals the preciousness and impermanence of time.
