Flora Searches for Her Young

This scene was made up from a sketch done at the location of the beautiful gardens of Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakesh, Morocco. Feldman fell in love with his use of bold color in painting the pool and flower pots surrounding the lily pond. The rest is made up. She used more colors than of course were there; blues, greens, reds, and mauves. She added the birds as they give focus and character to the work. Oil on wood with cradled sides.
