Nymphaea Odorata, Two

Influenced by the natural world, as well as abraded surfaces and complex patterns, this fiber wall hanging references European botanical photography, Japanese screen painting and kimono patterns, and American quilt blocks. The designs are printed onto cotton fabric, using large-format ink-jet printers. That fabric is cut, pieced together, and machine quilted.
