The Story
The technique employed is cloisonne. The copper plates were enameled with a base coat, then hand made copper coils were attached to the base coat with Klear Fyre to create the design. The plates were then fired in the kiln. The copper coils were then wet-packed with different colored enamels to create the colorful design. Multiple firings were required to create the final product. Sold as a pair.
