Colorful Amber Mushroom Pendant - chrome diopside, ruby, tsavorite

This pendant was born out of a moment of stillness during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the world slowed down and the jewelry district in New York City shut down, the artist found solace in nature and the materials around them. During morning walks through the woods, surrounded by mushrooms, frogs, and caterpillars, they envisioned yellow amber juxtaposed yet completely harmonious with the surrounding woods.

Using a family heirloom amber composite bead, the artist carved and polished it into the shape of a mushroom. The result is a piece that captures the serene harmony between amber and nature. It is embellished 14k yellow gold, chrome diopside, rubies and tsavorite. A chain is not included.
