This photograph was made at the surfing spot known as Ditch Plains near Montauk, NY. Hurricane Fiona was passing by out to sea and in the early morning of September 23rd, surfers and locals gathered at the Camp Hero Bluffs near the Point to view and evaluate the building surf. It was a magnificent day, and by afternoon there was a mix of high energy and quiet as conditions evolved dramatically. The waves were pounding, one after another, for hours. Negative ions were swirling and the light was electric.
The print is made in the artist's studio with pigmented inks on museum-quality, fiber paper—both of the very highest quality. When displayed properly it will maintain its beauty and richness for generations.
Signed and numbered by the artist with archival pen on front in the lower white border. It is signed, numbered, titled, and dated en verso with archival pen.
