Seasons Vessel

Graphic shapes and colorful symbols of the summer season are hand painted onto each side of this abstract vase. Hand built using slabs of smooth buff colored stoneware clay and decorated with matte glazes in sunny shades, and assorted botanical shapes. The inside is coated in a off white satin glaze. Each vase is fired twice, the final firing is to over 2300 degrees. The vase is topped off with a sturdy handtied rattan handle. Total size from feet to top of handle is 11.5" tall, 7" wide, and 4" deep. Signed on the bottom.
