Origins Form III

This hand-built earthenware sculpture arcs into a crescent-like form, its surface alive with carved and underglazed biomorphic motifs. Built slowly through the accretion of small pinched additions, the piece carries a palpable sense of emergence—its contours rising organically, as if shaped by both impulse and meditation. It reflects an ongoing exploration of growth, transformation and patterns found in nature’s earliest forms.

This piece recently received a distinguished Merit Award in the 2026 Arts North International Juried Exhibition.
