Dog in Spring

This hand-built ceramic dog sculpture combines a calm, attentive form with vivid acrylic red eyes that create a striking focal point. Floral imagery, applied through underglaze stencil techniques, wraps the surface with layered pattern and symbolism, contrasting innocence with intensity. Additions of bees mounted on wire add a sense of whimsy. Finished with terra-sigillata, the clay develops a smooth, satin-like sheen that enhances the subtle curves and refined surface of the piece.
