Quad Optix Pillow Box

Hand built ceramic pillow box. Created using the slab method and cutting out two pieces to form the body of the piece. The pieces are assembled into a closed form and then a small hole is inserted into the piece. The artist then uses a small clay straw to blow air into the body, inflating it into the pillow shape you see. This pillow box is decorated an alternating Optix pattern on top and red bottom. Bright orange inside. Each piece is unique. Slight variations may occur from piece to piece.
