Buffalo Horn & Sponge Coral Necklace II

This playful necklace is crafted from water buffalo horn sourced from the Philippines, where artisans carve the horn after the buffalo has been used for meat and leather. The carved pieces are then painted with intricate lines and left to dry in the sun. These unique beads were combined with vibrant sponge coral and hematite beads. It closes with a hand-formed sterling silver toggle clasp, which is accented with moonstones on each side of the toggle bar. The result is a lightweight, eye-catching piece full of texture and color.
