“Encircled” is a sculpture created using a combination of bronze, stainless steel, and red glass to explore the concept of one's place within life’s cyclical nature. The piece reflects the idea that life, in its entirety, is a continuous circle, yet as individuals, we only experience a small section of it. The red glass at the center symbolizes the individual, while the surrounding stainless steel arcs represent the other people who intersect with our lives. Together, the materials and design convey a sense of interconnectedness, highlighting both the individuality and the shared experiences that shape our journey through life.
