The vessel is filled with imaginary creatures, symbols and objects that play around the surface. A one-of-a-kind piece starts by sketching in pencil and rendering images with acrylic paint on the gourd. The gourd, a natural object, is opened, seeds removed, washed and images and finished with a protective matte varnish. Although coated inside the vessel may not be used for liquid. Easy to care for, the vessel should be handled like any original artwork, dusted but not washed.
