Asymmetrical Red Coral Branch Earrings

These asymmetrical branch earrings are crafted from sustainably harvested Mediterranean red coral, collected off the coast of Sardinia, Italy.

Italian coral harvesting is strictly regulated to protect the species: only licensed divers are permitted (never nets), a minimum trunk diameter of 7 mm is required, and collection is limited to depths below 50 meters. Mediterranean red coral is not currently classified as endangered, though it is slow-growing and carefully managed.
