Painters Palette Archival Very Early Work Vase

Unique hand-blown glass vase from early in the artists career. A very rare offering from the artists personal collection, made in 1986, and inspired by Eastern European visiting artists at the artists college (California College of Arts and Crafts). Lightweight, with bold calligraphic surface design, painterly lines and a big squiggle of 'paint' from a tube are represented abstractly. This is a student-era piece by the artist, and priced accordingly. It is signed and dated 1986 on the bottom around a unfinished but not sharp punty break-off.
