Force of Nature

This glass sculpture evokes the feel and depth of rising and tumbling waves, reflecting the artist's longtime fascination with the ocean's strength and power. Inspired by the beauty of the sea, the artist arranged three separate pieces of kiln-formed glass together in a custom stand. The darkest piece of glass is mostly opaque, and the front pieces are semi-transparent, allowing light and the viewer's eye to move through them to the other layers. Each piece is handmade and will vary slightly.
