Wild Blue Yonder

This acrylic work is inspired by Jan Jahnke's love for bodies of water; a feeling of open space and minimal detail mimic the softness of waves. The surface is textured and layers of watercolor glazes highlight the solid blue area. Small areas of turquoise, black, and coral add visual interest. Gallery-wrapped with the image extending around the sides, it's wired to hang.
