The Story
In this painting, Tondro is experimenting with using prints from several different athletic shoes over layered swatches of color. She applied a peach glaze over the top. The juxtaposition of the complementary pinks and greens with the turquoise and golden yellow highlights is divine.
Sustainability is an important part of Tondro's artistic practice, and each one-of-a-kind piece is created using repurposed, upcycled and natural materials.
